Great Children's Church YouTube videos to share!

Some of you have wanted to see the amazing short videos we have recently been watching in Children's Church. I have learned that I can go to youtube and search for videos on the story or lesson we are studying from the bible. I have to weed through many bad ones, but the good ones I find are well worth it. This is one I shared with everyone at our West Campus Kids Parents Meeting. I hope you enjoy it as much as the kids and the PARENTS did!

This video was used when we were studying the story of Nehemiah. The story is found in the book of Nehemiah, chapters 1-6. Nehemiah was rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem and was being tormented by two men named Sanballat and Tobiah. Instead of giving up building the wall, Nehemiah kept going. We learned that Nehemiah is a hero because he never tired of doing good!

Welcome to St. Stephen West Children's Ministry Blog!!

You can check here for upcoming events, important information and for our weekly Bible verse!!

This weeks Bible verse is: "But if you fail to keep your word, then you will have sinned against the Lord, and you may be sure that your sin will find you out." Numbers 32:23
For preschoolers and Kindergartners our verse is "Keep your word."

Come this week and tell Ms. Angie, Ms. Monika or Ms. Tammy your verse and you will get a prize!!

This Sunday is World Communion Sunday. We will have a special Family Service, so there will be no Children's Church. I will provide plenty of coloring pages and fresh crayons! We will be learning about Jesus washing the disciples feet in Sunday School, so it will be a great introduction into communion!

Have a very blessed week!
